Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife. The mother of pearl handle is plain and has an oval cartouche to the centre of the handle. There is a decorated solid silver spine along the edge of the piece. The knife was assayed in Birmingham 1888 and made by Thomas Marples.
Condition:Good. The spring on the knife is worn and the blade has to be pulled in and out. The blade sits out of the handle very slightly when closed into the handle. The tip of the blade is bent. Length of the knife open is 5.5 Inches and closed is 3.2 Inches.
