Rare Victorian Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife. The mother of pearl handle is plain and has an oblong cartouche to the centre of the handle. There is a plain solid silver spine along the edge of the piece. The knife was assayed in London 1860 and made by Francis Higgins. Very Few Fruit Knives were made in London, most were made in Birmingham and London.
Condition:Good. The spring on the knife is good, the blade snaps in and out. The tip of the blade is a little bent. Length of the knife open is 6.25 Inches and closed is 3.5 Inches.
