Rare Victorian Matching Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife and Fork. The mother of pearl handles are decorated with lines down their length and an oval cartouche to the centre of the handle as well. Each piece has an engraved silver spine along the edge of the piece. The pair was assayed in Sheffield 1863, and was made by James Fenton.
Condition:Good. The spring on the fork is good and the blade snaps in and out with a soft close. The spring on the knife is worn and the blade has to be pulled in and out. The blade also sits out of the handle when closed into the handle. Length of the fork open is 5.25 Inches and closed is 3.1 Inches. Length of the knife open is 5.45 Inches and closed is 3.1 Inches.
