Rare George IV Hunting Scene Decorated All Silver Folding Fruit Knife. The silver handle is decorated with gentleman on horseback chasing a fox through the countryside. There is a decorated solid silver spine along the edge of the piece. The silver blade has a bright-cut bordered edge to it. The piece was assayed in Sheffield 1824 and made by Josh Law. The same knife is illustrated on page 138 in the “Pocket Fruit Knives Book by Simon Moore which was published in 2008.
Condition:Good. The spring is worn as the blade needs to be pulled in and out. Length of the knife open is 5.5 Inches and Closed is 3.1 Inches.
