Rare George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Fork. The mother of pearl handle is plain and is decorated with silver circular roundels down the length of the handle, with a silver cap at the top and bottom of the handle. The fork has a plain solid silver spine along the edge of the piece. The piece dates to around 1800.
Condition:Good. The spring is worn, the blade needs to be pulled in and out. One of the tines to the fork is damaged. Length of the fork open is 6 inches and closed is 3.25 Inches.
