George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife. The mother of pearl handle is decorated with a chequerboard pattern and is inlaid with silver pique work across both sides of the handle. The knife has an engraved solid silver spine along the edge of the piece. The piece was made in Sheffield 1817.
Condition:Good. The spring is good, as the blade snaps in and out of the handle. The tip to the blade is slightly bent. Length open is 5.45 Inches and closed is 3 Inches.
